What we install

Boiler work

  • Like-for-like boiler swaps
  • Boiler relocations to a different position in the property
  • System changes — such as conventional to combi, or converting from vented to unvented
  • Back boiler conversions — back boilers can no longer be replaced, so we convert to a conventional boiler or combi

Full heating systems

  • Boiler, radiators, pipework and controls
  • Underfloor heating
  • Unvented hot water cylinders (G3 qualified)
  • Vented hot water cylinders

How it works

1

Site visit by an engineer

A qualified, experienced engineer visits the property — not a salesperson. They'll assess the current system, check gas pressure and pipe sizing, discuss what you want, and identify anything that needs attention. This visit is free and without obligation.

2

Detailed fixed quote

You get a written quote that covers the recommended boiler, any system changes, and optional extras priced separately. Because the site visit is done by an engineer who knows what they're looking at, the quote covers everything — no surprise costs on installation day for things that should have been spotted.

3

Installation

Dust sheets down, shoe covers on. The old boiler and scrap are removed and taken away. We take pride in leaving everywhere clean and tidy.

Old equipment and scrap metal from our jobs goes to Aid2Gambia (registered charity no. 1157962), a Nottingham-based charity that collects medical and educational equipment no longer needed in the UK and ships it to schools, clinics and hospitals in The Gambia.

4

Handover

Boiler benchmark form completed, warranty registered with the manufacturer, and the installation notified to Gas Safe and building control. You get a walkthrough of the controls so you know how everything works.

No hidden extras

The person who quotes the job is a qualified engineer, not a salesperson. That matters because a proper site inspection catches everything up front — gas pressure, pipe sizing, access issues, anything that could affect the installation. If a competent inspection should have caught something, it's in the quote. The price you're given is the price you pay.

Manufacturer approvals & warranties

We're approved installers for the brands below. That means extended manufacturer warranties when we fit their boilers — longer cover than you'd get from a non-approved installer.

Baxi

Including Potterton and Main (same manufacturer group). Our most commonly recommended brand.

Vaillant

Including Glow-worm (same manufacturer group).

Viessmann

German-engineered and highly customisable. Some heating systems are designed to only work with Viessmann boilers.

Any other make

We can install any boiler brand. The approved installer status above gives extended warranties on those specific brands, but we're not limited to them.

Why we often recommend Baxi

We have no allegiance to any single manufacturer and will fit whatever suits the property and budget. But in most cases, Baxi offers the best combination of the things that matter.

Value for money

Competitive pricing without compromising on quality. Consistently good across the range.

Build quality

Predominantly steel construction over aluminium, brass fittings over plastic. Built to last.

Customer service

Responsive and easy to deal with when warranty or parts queries come up. That matters when something needs sorting quickly.

Warranty

The top-of-the-range Baxi 800 series comes with a long manufacturer warranty. Combined with our approved installer status, you get the maximum cover available.
